In addition to acting, Patrese has varied experience as an educator and arts engagement strategist. A lot of her work centers around the advancement of girls and young women of color. In 2009, she founded her own npf Pure Art Education. She is the former Director of Education for the Universtiy of Chicago’s Court Theatre. Patrese is currently a member of the Eugene O’Neil Theater Center’s Artistic Council as well as the resident acting faculty at the National Theatre Institute.
